As a Security Guard - Mall Patrol Driver in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a bustling retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas using a company vehicle. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including the business interiors and surrounding perimeter.
Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related incidents to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.
Assist in helping to deter unauthorized behavior and/or prohibited activities within the location through visible patrols and attentive presence.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
Provide assistance and information to visitors, shoppers, and tenants as needed, maintaining a helpful and approachable demeanor.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to address security-related concerns and/or emergencies as they arise.
