As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or irregularities to management or appropriate authorities.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials when necessary, and maintaining a visible presence.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or providing directions to emergency personnel.
Document and report security-related incidents, maintenance issues, or other concerns according to site and Allied Universal procedures.
Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while interacting with the public, tenants, and staff at the location.
