As a Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence for visitors. This primarily driving post involves conducting routine patrols and remaining visible to support a secure environment. You will also deliver outstanding customer service and communication, reflecting our values of teamwork, agility, and integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the retail and mall environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and directing visitors as needed.
Support emergency response activities according to site procedures, including assisting with evacuations and/or providing information to first responders.
Document all incidents, observations, and interactions as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
