Job Description As a Security Guard - Shopping Center Patrol Driver in Rialto, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct regular patrols throughout a bustling retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This driving position offers the opportunity to interact with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to a positive atmosphere while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or unauthorized persons within the premises.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site protocols.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily activities and incidents as required.
