As a Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver in Foothill Ranch, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a bustling retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine vehicle patrols and maintaining a visible presence. This is a driving post, where your focus will be on providing outstanding customer service, supporting a welcoming environment, and communicating clearly with visitors and staff. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to management and/or law enforcement as appropriate.
Support access control by monitoring entrances and exits during patrols to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Assist visitors and tenants by providing information and directions as needed while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
