What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and residents by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for shelter environments. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the shelter location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities and maintain a secure environment. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity. Document and report security-related incidents, maintenance issues, or hazards to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner. Assist shelter staff and residents as needed, maintaining professionalism and a courteous demeanor at all times. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and shelter staff to support a welcoming and secure environment for all occupants.
