As a Security Guard - Security Operations Center in Racine, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing an approachable presence for guests and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to observe for suspicious activity and help to deter potential issues.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
- Document and report incidents, observations, and/or unusual activities as required by site protocols.
- Work collaboratively with retail staff and/or management to support a welcoming and secure environment for customers and employees.
- Assist with access control, crowd management, and/or emergency evacuation procedures as needed.
