About The Position

As a Security Guard - Aero Security Clearance in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide exceptional customer service through clear communication. Requirements

An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and/or actions taken during patrols.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding any security-related concerns or incidents.
Assist in controlling access to restricted areas within the location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required.
Support emergency response efforts by guiding individuals to designated areas and providing information to first responders as necessary.
