Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location.
Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages as required to help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items from entering the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating when necessary according to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain awareness of the environment.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to company and site procedures.
Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, following Allied Universal and site guidelines.
