About The Position

As a Security Guard - Roving Patrol Officer in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security experience.
• The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee traffic, and assist with sign-in, identification checks, and directing individuals to the appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, disturbances, medical events, and/or suspicious activity, and promptly notify the appropriate contacts.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, document incidents and patrol observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives.
