About The Position

As a Security Guard - Roving Patrol Driver in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide standout customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, guests, and employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate on-site personnel and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and building perimeter conditions, noting unusual activity that may help to deter policy violations.
  • Control access by monitoring entrances, checking identification and/or credentials as required, and documenting visitor and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete accurate security-related reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations and service needs to supervision and/or client contacts.
