Job Description As a Security Guard - Roving Patrol in Malvern, AR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with onsite teams, and respond to situations with calm professionalism and strong customer service. Supported by a caring culture, you will act with integrity while working with an agile, reliable, innovative team. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Control access by checking identification, verifying deliveries and pickups, and directing drivers, contractors, and visitors to approved areas according to site procedures.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, monitor alarms and/or cameras when assigned, and report hazards and maintenance concerns through the designated process.
