As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete mobile rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations using a computer and/or tablet, communicate clearly with site contacts, and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid - preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Lift Up to 20 lbs - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific, security-related procedures, badge requirements, and post orders at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or irregular conditions.
• Control access at gates, lobbies, and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing deliveries, and directing traffic in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities and communicating with site contacts and public responders as needed.
• Document daily activities, patrol observations, and incident details in written reports and/or electronic systems, and promptly escalate issues through the chain of command.
