As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a prestigious retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your routine patrols and visible presence will contribute to a secure environment for guests and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $26.59 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 10:00 AM - 08:00 PM Sat 10:00 AM - 08:00 PM Sun 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Requirements

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining order within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors and employees by providing directions and information as needed within the retail or mall location.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as required for incidents or emergencies.
