Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, where your visible presence and routine patrols help support a welcoming environment for shoppers and tenants. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU driver policy. You will respond to security-related concerns, assist with customer service requests, and communicate clearly with your team, bringing integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach to every shift.

Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard Card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail and mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, medical situations, and/or property-related concerns as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and tenant activity, assisting with directions, policy reminders, and/or coordination with site management when situations arise.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation of patrols, incidents, and/or unusual activity, and communicate updates to supervisors, site contacts, and/or public responders when required.
