As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail or mall location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the premises. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas in a vehicle while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related operations at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall environment, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Support emergency response activities by following established protocols and communicating with Allied Universal management and site personnel as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
