Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver
About The Position
As a Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver in Grandville, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves engaging with the public, providing outstanding customer service, and responding to situations with professionalism. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards within the location.
- Assist visitors, tenants, and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when situations require additional assistance.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities.
