You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Support emergency response activities and communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site contacts as necessary.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related occurrences as required by site procedures.
• Provide visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behaviors within the retail environment.
