About The Position

As a Security Guard - Residential Driving in Augusta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols throughout a residential location, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding to access control needs. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will remain visible, interact with residents, and provide exceptional customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

Supervisory experience is required.
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access within the residential community.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences as required by site protocols.
Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and property management to address concerns or provide assistance as needed.
Support Allied Universal management by following all post orders and instructions relevant to the residential location.
