As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist patients, visitors, and staff with clear communication, and respond to concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, reporting, and coordinating notifications per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of corridors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and help manage visitor flow by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorization when required, and documenting unusual conditions.
• Complete security-related reports, incident documentation, and pass-down communications; use radios and/or other systems to support dispatch, call response, and coordination with on-site teams.
