Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, parking facilities, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, common areas, and other assigned locations to help support authorized access, document observed activity, and complete required reports related to security-related events.
- Assist with emergency response activities, including following post orders, directing occupants during unusual situations, and reporting conditions that may require follow-up by property management and/or first responders.
