Job Description As a Security Guard - Mall Patrol Driver in Oxnard, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, where you will conduct routine patrols and support the team in upholding Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and integrity.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the retail or mall location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons on the property.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a welcoming and secure environment for all guests and staff.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
Document incidents and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while on patrol, adapting to changing conditions or situations as needed.
