You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license in line with AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Monitor gates and access points, verify authorization as required by post orders, and help to maintain controlled entry and exit for people, vehicles, and deliveries.
Observe operations and surroundings for unusual conditions such as unauthorized personnel, suspicious packages, and/or signs of tampering, and report findings per site policy.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical incidents, and/or environmental events, and notify site contacts and public responders as directed.
Complete detailed reports on shift activity, incidents, patrol observations, and policy violations using required paper and/or electronic systems.
Assist with visitor and contractor check-in, badge handling, and/or directions, while maintaining a professional presence and respectful communication.
Support site emergency procedures by helping with evacuations, accountability steps, and/or establishing controlled areas when directed by site leadership.
Perform vehicle and perimeter checks as required, including verifying seals, checking for unauthorized items, and/or documenting discrepancies for follow-up.
Maintain a neat post area and report equipment issues, lighting outages, fence damage, and/or other hazards to the appropriate site contact per procedure.
