As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control by verifying badges and visitor entry. You will be a calm, service-minded presence, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and document activity with attention to detail. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process-adjacent areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and direct visitors and vendors according to location procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and/or requesting assistance per post orders.
Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, access activity, and incident response, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
