Job Description As a Security Guard - Petrochemical Patrol Driver in Palmyra, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling a chemical and petrochemical location. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Requirements

  • 1 year Security Experience
  • Driver's License for 12 months with good driving history
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical and petrochemical environments.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
  • Monitor access points and assist in controlling entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or security-related concerns to management and/or appropriate authorities.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
  • Participate in site-specific training and ongoing professional development to remain knowledgeable about protocols relevant to chemical and petrochemical operations.
