As an unarmed patrol officer at a major food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting access control needs. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas of the food and beverage production location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Document and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts as required.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns specific to the food and beverage environment.
