About The Position

As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver in Kailua, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with calm, clear communication. This role requires a valid driver’s license and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a healthcare location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting onsite leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Control access by monitoring doors and restricted areas, assisting with visitor directions, and supporting staff with de-escalation and reporting concerns.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in required logs and reports, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover.
