You will conduct routine patrols, complete driving patrols as needed with a valid driver’s license, stay highly visible to help to deter incidents, and provide strong customer service and clear communication to employees and visitors. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and support visitor and delivery processing by verifying authorization, directing traffic flow, and maintaining required logs in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting observations, and coordinating with site contacts and/or first responders as directed.
  • Complete timely written and/or electronic reports, including patrol activity, incident documentation, and daily logs, and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.
