Job Description As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver in Logan, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical or petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate actions based on the situation.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards in a chemical and petrochemical environment.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity throughout the location and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or authorizations for individuals entering restricted areas within the site.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports, maintaining clear communication with Allied Universal management and site leadership.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment and provide assistance during emergencies or drills as required.
