Job Description As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver in Logan, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical or petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate actions based on the situation.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards in a chemical and petrochemical environment.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity throughout the location and report findings according to established protocols.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or authorizations for individuals entering restricted areas within the site.
Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports, maintaining clear communication with Allied Universal management and site leadership.
Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment and provide assistance during emergencies or drills as required.
