As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver Industrial Full Time in Granville, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the premises. This role involves driving as part of your assigned duties, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location, including both interior and perimeter areas.
- Observe and report any unusual activities, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying the credentials of individuals when required.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal policies.
- Work collaboratively with client representatives and Allied Universal personnel to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
- Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift to respond promptly to any security-related concerns or emergencies.
