Security Guard - Industrial Patrol Driver
About The Position
As a Security Guard - Industrial Patrol Driver in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols will support a culture of reliability and teamwork, while your customer service and communication skills will enhance the experience for everyone on site. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor for unusual activity and report any observations according to site protocols.
- Assist with controlling access to the premises by verifying credentials and/or directing visitors as needed.
- Communicate professionally and promptly with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
