About The Position

As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver EMT in Ogden, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, supporting mobile patrols and quick response across the site. You will deliver strong customer service, clear communication, and accurate reporting while working with a team that values integrity, reliability, and a people-first culture.

Requirements

  • An EMT Certification is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, post orders, and emergency response protocols at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification, visitor logs, deliveries, and contractor check-in procedures in accordance with client policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; request assistance from site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete detailed shift logs and incident reports, communicate noteworthy information during shift changes, and report maintenance or security-related concerns through the proper channels.
