Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech campus, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor check-in using computer and/or tablet tools, deliver professional customer service, and communicate clearly with teams on site. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and site visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, building common areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or access issues.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials as directed, and directing visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries to the proper check-in process.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, suspicious activity, alarms, and/or workplace disputes, and communicate updates to the appropriate parties.
• Complete detailed reports and logs for patrol findings, incidents, and/or client requests; use required systems and devices to document activity and support follow-up actions.
