As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter incidents, and document security-related activity. You will be a trusted presence for employees and visitors, delivering strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Have 6+ months of security-related experience.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and/or telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of campus areas, office spaces, common areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards and/or maintenance issues.
  • Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, and directing guests to appropriate check-in locations per site procedures.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations, alarms, and/or access issues to appropriate personnel per post orders.
