As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols of buildings and surrounding areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication. You will support tenants, employees, and visitors with professional customer service, detailed reporting, and teamwork. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, fire alarms, disturbances, and property-related concerns, and notify management and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access issues.
• Control access where assigned by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized entry, assisting with visitor directions, and documenting deliveries, contractor activity, and tenant requests per post orders.
• Complete required reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations and recommendations to onsite contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
