As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to reports, document observations, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication with employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures at a financial services location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter doors to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and direct visitors, deliveries, and contractors according to site procedures.
  • Respond to alarms, calls for assistance, and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders when appropriate.
  • Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to the oncoming shift and site management.
