Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will bring our agile, reliable, innovative approach to every shift, delivering through teamwork and acting with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Have 1+ years of security experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe patient, visitor, and staff activity; assist with visitor direction, badge verification, and/or wayfinding as assigned by post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or suspicious activity per site procedures.
  • Document patrol activity, incidents, and service calls in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate key information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
