As a Security Guard - Office Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Ability to meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment)
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license (will be required for driving positions only)

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, assisting visitors, employees, and members of the public while following post orders and location protocols.
  • Support Allied Universal standards by communicating clearly with site contacts and/or local responders when needed, and completing routine logs, reports, and other assigned duties.
