About The Position
As a Security Guard - Office Complex in Southfield, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout a commercial real estate location. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including both the interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues during patrols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related events as required by Allied Universal policies.
- Work collaboratively with property management and local authorities when necessary to address security-related matters.
- Remain alert and attentive to surroundings to help to deter potential issues and provide a visible Allied Universal presence at the location.
