As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor key areas, complete routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist tenants and visitors with professional customer service, and communicate observations clearly to your team. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.
Monitor access points and common areas, assisting with visitor direction, key control processes as assigned, and/or checking credentials in accordance with post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting observations, and/or coordinating with site management and public responders as directed.
Complete timely reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident details, and noteworthy observations, using approved communication methods and systems.
