As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, report concerns clearly, and provide customer-focused service to employees and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required under AU Driver Policy requirements. Allied Universal values agile teamwork, reliability, innovation, and integrity.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting onsite leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production and storage areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
- Complete written and/or electronic reports, including shift activity logs, incident documentation, and observations from patrols, and communicate pertinent information during shift handoff.
