As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, you will complete routine patrols and drive between areas as part of the post, helping to spot and report security-related concerns, support store teams, and assist guests with professionalism. You will remain highly visible, document activity, and communicate clearly using basic computer or tablet tools. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, suspected theft, and/or medical events, and notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to site leadership, while supporting loss prevention efforts through presence and observation.
• Complete shift logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions to support consistent security-related coverage.
