About The Position

As a Security Guard – Medical Center Driver in Latrobe, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will provide outstanding customer service and communication, fostering a welcoming environment for everyone onsite. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license as you move throughout the property to support our commitment to teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activities according to site procedures.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and information while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Support access control procedures and verify credentials as required by site policies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment.
