About The Position
As a Security Guard - Media Site Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues within the tech, media, and telecom environment.
- Document all incidents and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
