As an unarmed patrol officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor flow, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and document observations as needed. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing and/or office location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts, assisting with scene control, and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance and operational concerns.
• Control access points by verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials per site policy, and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas.
• Complete reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
