As an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct regular patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors with directions and information as needed while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
- Follow all post orders and instructions specific to the unarmed patrol position within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
- Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required.
