Security Guard - Manufacturing Patrol Driver
About The Position
As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Saint Peters, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will remain visible throughout your shift, assisting with access control and supporting a secure environment, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain an orderly flow of personnel and vehicles.
- Participate in emergency response activities as required, following established protocols for the location.
- Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
