As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Corpus Christi, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to create a secure environment for employees and visitors. This is a driving post, where you will remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while working with a team that values integrity, innovation, and teamwork. Requirements

A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for and report any unusual or suspicious activity observed during patrols.
Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and/or visitors as needed to address security-related matters.
Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Follow all Allied Universal and client-specific protocols while performing job duties.
