As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for guests and staff. This primarily driving post allows you to interact with the public while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. Your role will include conducting routine patrols and offering exceptional customer service to help create a secure environment.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any security-related concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior or potential risks within the retail environment.
Assist customers, visitors, and employees with directions and general inquiries as needed.
Collaborate with store management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related issues and support site-specific needs.
