About The Position

As a Security Guard - Mall Patrol Driver in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout retail and mall locations. You will interact with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly to support a welcoming environment. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including the business and its perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns to management or appropriate authorities.
Assist visitors, customers, and employees with directions and information as needed, maintaining a helpful presence.
Document incidents and daily activities according to Allied Universal protocols and site requirements.
